About us

We’re Patrick and Thea, a married couple running a small studio from Orem, Utah. We started Patea because we’d rather build a handful of things well than a lot of things quickly.

We split things up the way you’d expect: Patrick builds, Thea designs. That’s the whole studio right now.

Most of our client work right now is wedding websites. We design and build each one for the couple getting married, not from a template you could spot on someone else’s site. You can see examples on our portfolio.

Patea is the studio for us, not any one product. We take on custom design and development work, and we’re building our own tools on the side as ideas prove out.
